Your Parish Councillors

Kim Russell
Moved to Norton 10 years ago after 20 years of following John around the country with the RAF. We decided on Norton because it was a small community with excellent road and rail links. I have been chairman of the NVCA and now run the coffee morning and craft group in the village, and am a member of the local history group.  I am interested in canals, family and local history, photography and keeping Norton a rural village and not a suburb of Daventry.

I have lived In Norton 15 years, but members of my family have lived here since 1867. Interests include – History, playing badminton, gardening, country walks.

Nikki Jenkins
I am married with one daughter and have lived in Norton for twenty years. Throughout this period I have run my own digital media business and occasionally I use my secretarial skills as a self-employed legal secretary. I have an intense interest in the countryside and enjoy horse riding, dog walking or just simply walking and observing wildlife.
I an vehemently opposed to the developments threatening Norton and the unnecessary destruction this will cause to the setting of both the village and Daventry.

Dr Denise Noha
Lancastrian born and bred, but spent a delightful decade in Yorkshire including playing for York in the inter University competition "War of the Roses".  Moved from Yorkshire to Northamptonshire after gaining employment in the area.  Chose to live in Norton Village approximately 12 years ago, as I prefer the countryside to large towns; I am thus against seeing Norton disappear into Daventry's sprawling unsustainable housing developments.  I work from home, running my own business in chip card technology and still manage to fit in some teaching (Maths and Physics).  A keen cyclist enthusiast often taking part in day events over 100 miles long.
